After completing the interior design for this period property in Highbury & Islington back in 2023, the owners got back in touch to say the family was about to grow. They needed to add a childrens bedroom and create a new office which could accommodate two desks.

We transformed the former office into a bedroom which would be the perfect space for a newborn to grow. Adding a bespoke hand-painted mural all the way around the room, inspired by the Morris & Co curtain fabric with an added portrait of the family dog.

We also designed a compact built-in desk which would fit two people in the remaining office, working closely with the joiners Mortise & May to bring it to life.
